About the Producer Shafer Vineyards
★ Partner ProducerShafer vineyards was created in 1972 in Stags Leap District in the Napa Valley by John Shafer when he turned his back on his career in publishing. His son, Doug Shafer became the vineyard’s vintner in 1983, assisted by Elias Fernandez. This 85-hectare estate has quickly became a Napa Valley icon and has acquired an established an international reputation.
