More info“Fight Charcot”, an association created by François Ponnelle – who has himself been affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND) for 7 years – is organising an exceptional charity evening at the Hôtel-Dieu des Hospices de Beaune to support research against MND*. This event, organised with the support of the association "Les Invincibles", will bring together more than 280 guests.
The evening, orchestrated by Maison Butard Enescot and its executive chef Jean-Luc Mothu, will begin in the Salle des Pôvres of the Hôtel-Dieu de Beaune, a historic and prestigious setting, where internationally renowned pianist Anne Queffélec will perform. This moment will give way to the dinner organised at the Bastion. It promises to be an exceptional evening thanks to the generous participation of Michelin-starred chefs Jacques Marcon (3 stars in the Michelin Guide), Patrick Henriroux (2 stars), Pierre-Louis Vigilant (2 stars), Jean-Michel Lorain (2 stars), as well as the famous sommelier from the Hôtel de Crillon, Xavier Thuizat, one of the Best Craftsmen of France and crowned Best Sommelier in France in 2022. Guests will enjoy a six-course menu with wine pairings. All the wines tasted are donated by legendary Burgundian estates such as Domaine de L’Arlot, Arnoux-Lachaux, Hudelot-Noëllat, Matrot and Bachelet-Monnot.
iDealwine has been chosen to organise an auction that will take place on its website from 25 November with the funds raised benefiting this association. The auction catalogue will be online towards the end of the evening (at 22:30 French time). Some rare lots will also be auctioned at the gala on 6 December going under the iDealwine hammer.
