Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Gaudichots Forey Père et Fils (Domaine) 2013

The wine

The Les Gaudichots Vosne-Romanée is a very rare, absolutely sublime wine, coming from one of the domaine's very high-quality plots, the premier cru Les Gaudichots, neighbouring the ultra-famous La Tâche. The nose produces aromas of red berries (redcurrant, strawberry, cherry). On the palate, the tannins are discernible but very refined; very harmonious overall.

About the Producer Forey Père et Fils

The Forey family has been cultivating vines since at least the beginning of the last century. Régis Forey now runs the 8 hectare family domaine on Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Morey-Saint-Denis and two grand crus: Clos-Vougeot and Echézeaux. In managing this magnificent vineyard, Régis Forey does careful and meticulous work in the most natural way possible to get the vines in the cellar gently. The wines are of a high standard and stand out for their elegance and delicacy.
