The wine

Premier Cru Aux Reignots has a clear nose that is captivating with its fruits of the forest aromas (blackberries and raspberries) and spicy notes. Delicate and elegant on the palate, its softened tannins, wonderful body and particular freshness are revealed. This wine pairs well with poultry and especially with duck.

About the Producer Sylvain Cathiard & Fils

The origins of the Domaine Sylvain Cathiard et Fils date back to the 1920s when Alfred Cathiard began to acquire the first parcels of vines in Vosne. The wine heritage of the family is very prestigious with very fine plots of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny and Romanée-St-Vivant. The domaine is now managed by Sylvain Cathiard and his son Sébastien. Their wines are of a very high quality and are almost impossible to find in France. They are characterised in particular by their great finesse and their harmony.
