About the Producer Vignoble De Boisseyt
Established in 1797, the Boisseyt vineyard spans more than 200 years of viticultural history. Six generations of committed winegrowers succeeded one another at the head of the domain before Agnès and Didier Chol took it over in 1988. Romain Decelle became the domain’s winemaker in 2017, with the ambition of reconciling modernity and tradition in the heart of this iconic Côte du Rhône terroir. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, he cultivates his 11 hectares of vines in accordance with the principles of organic farming. Each parcel receives specific care depending on its needs, to allow the personality of each one to shine through. In the winery, the philosophy is the same. Vinification involves minimal intervention and sulphur is added in minute quantities. As a result, the iconic Boisseyt vineyard produces fruity, authentic wines perfectly reflecting the traditional craftsmanship inherited from generations of impassioned winemakers.
