Liberté Chérie is a cuvée produced in small quantities, a high quality Vin de France combining power, finesse and aromas of violet and red fruit.
More infoLiberté Chérie is a single-varietal Syrah cuvée, produced from grapes grown at an altitude of 635 metres on pink marble soils. The south-facing parcels are planted in a unique terroir that gives the Syrah a typically Provençal sapidity and freshness. The grapes are hand-picked to ensure a rigorous selection process. The winemaking process includes crushing and destemming the grapes, fermentation and ageing for 12 months in demi-muids and a further 6 months in amphorae before bottling. This limited production underlines the rarity of this wine.
Liberté Chérie reveals a delightful subtle balance of power and finesse. It offers aromas of violet, red and black fruit, strawberry, raspberry, cherry, garrigue and pepper. On the palate, this complex, delicious nectar culminates in a saline finish that adds freshness and vibrancy.

★ Partner ProducerBacked by four centuries of history – it can trace its beginnings back to 1610 – the property has only had three owners. Nestled in the Trets village, the estate covers a huge area with 500 hectares of forests and woods, of which 40 are reserved for vines that are divided into 92 parcels. The latter are located between 300 and 650 meters above sea level. Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Vermentino, Sémillon and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown there following organic and biodynamic methods.
After being harvested by hand, the grapes are gently vinified without any additives and using natural yeasts (which is rather rare for Provence’s rosés). The estate wishes to show off the unique characteristics of its terroirs and those of the AOC Côte de Provence Sainte-Victoire. Maturation is carried out in cement and stainless steel vats and oak barrels and large turns (but no new wood) depending on the wine. A magnificent property to discover immediately.
