The wine
The method used to produce the great wine from Fourcas Hosten undergoes improvements with every passing year. The wine's colour becomes richer and stronger as it ages in oak barrels for 15 months. It develops a bouquet of red fruit, combined with smoky, woody notes. On the palate it has tremendous finesse without a trace of tartness. A very refined wine.
About the Producer Château Fourcas Hosten
The château Fourcas Hosten owes its name to the village called Fourcas, one of the most qualitative sectors of Listrac. It is now the family Momméja (Hermes) who is at the head of the property and has drastically improved the wine.The prices have remained very reasonable, blue chip for amateurs.
