Les Suchots is a distinguished Premier Cru which has character. Its nose evokes well-ripened black fruit. On the palate, there is strength and a very long finish. This is a wine which needs to be cellared for a few years for its tannins to be polished.
About the Producer Sylvain Cathiard & Fils
The origins of the Domaine Sylvain Cathiard et Fils date back to the 1920s when Alfred Cathiard began to acquire the first parcels of vines in Vosne. The wine heritage of the family is very prestigious with very fine plots of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny and Romanée-St-Vivant. The domaine is now managed by Sylvain Cathiard and his son Sébastien. Their wines are of a very high quality and are almost impossible to find in France. They are characterised in particular by their great finesse and their harmony.
