The wine

The village of Flagey-Echezeaux is located between the vineyards of Clos Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée. This wine comes from a limestone soil facing southeast, and is aged for 18 to 20 months in oak barrels. Here is a structured and intense grand cru, with aromas of red fruits typical of Pinot Noir. It has the potential to be aged for 15 to 20 years.

Now owned by an American family, the wines are crafted under the assured direction of Frédéric Barnier, who safeguards the house’s hallmark precision and consistency.
