The wine
From soil consisting of gravel and sandy clay, the vineyard produces smooth, full-bodied, spicy wines with a bouquet of blackcurrants and blackberries. Particularly enjoyable, they are refined, elegant, and gentle on the palate.

This property, which belongs to the Cazes family, benefits from its owner's expertise in both the vineyard and the winery. Ormes de Pez was made a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in the June 2003 revision of the Cru Bourgeois classification.
