The wine

The Montmains Premier Cru is located in the heart of the Chablis appellation. A charming wine from its earliest youth, but also with a few years' ageing potential. It is characterised by its round, supple fruitiness. It will make a good accompaniment for a wide range of seafood dishes.

Domaine Jean-Paul and Benoît Droin is owned by one of the oldest families in Chablis, who have been working the vines for nearly five centuries. In 1547, Jehan Droin was already cultivating an enclosed vineyard. Today, the domaine is managed by Jean-Paul Droin and his son Benoît; it covers 26 hectares, including 5 grand crus and 8 premier crus. It has risen to the top of Chablis, offering precise, generous wines with a fine mineral persistence.
