More infoClos des Lambrays is one of the five Grand Crus of the commune of Morey-Saint-Denis, and produces wines that are probably the most typical. Domaine des Lambrays owns almost all of Clos des Lambrays, only a very small part belongs to Domaine Taupenot-Merme. Full-bodied, concentrated and remarkably elegant, the Clos des Lambrays has a rare and complex aroma: notes of blackberry, blueberry and raspberry, and as it ages, undertones of truffle, spices, liquorice, violet and undergrowth. Its ageing potential is generally above 20 years.

★ Partner ProducerDomaine des Lambrays is located on the Côte de Nuits in Morey Saint-Denis. It was bought by the LVMH group in 2014. It owes its name to the famous Grand Cru Clos des Lambrays which it owns as a virtual monopole. Besides the Clos des Lambray, the domaine produces stunning Morey-Saint-Denis as well as white wines in Puligny-Montrachet, bringing the total area of ??the vineyard to 11 hectares. Yield is low (28hl / ha), harvests are done by hand and aging takes places over eighteen months in 50% new oak barriques. The entire range is exceptional. In comparison with the Burgundian elite, prices remain reasonable. But the domaine’s reputation continues to grow worldwide.
