The wine
Jérôme Brétaudeau has successfully crafted a delicately fruity and floral Merlot with crisp tannins and a juicy texture, on this terroir in the Muscadet appellation.
Jérôme Bretaudeau acquired 9 hectares of vines in Gétigné in the early 2000s. After a few more purchases, his estate totalled 10 hectares of organically cultivated vines by 2005. This is a leading light of the appellation and a sound investment.
