Blanc de Blancs Henriet Bazin
The wine
This blanc de blancs is a homage, even an ode, to the beautiful Chardonnay grown on the chalky soil of the Montagne of Reims. After being aged on lees in the domain's cellars, this champagne offers up a delicate, aromatic bouquet composed of notes of dried fruit and white flowers. Lively and energetic, it has fine bubbles and lingers well on beautiful bitters.
About the Producer Champagne Henriet Bazin
Henri-et-Bazin champagnes is a 6.5-hectare family domain divided up into 37 parcels in Villers-Marmery, Verzy and Verzenay. The domain produces very good champagnes which, even in grands and premiers crus, are affordably-priced. Still a relatively unknown name.
