The wine

This wine is characterised by a concentrated, dense, opulent and generous body with notes of red berries, enhanced by a superb minerality. It owes the latter attribute to the schistous soil in which it is grown. A superb wine from Priorat which benefits from bottle ageing and deserves to be paired with dishes of character.

About the Producer Trio infernal

L'Infernal, formerly know as Trio Infernal, was created at the start of the new millennium (the year 2000 to be precise) at the instigation of three renowned winegrowers from the South of France: Peter Fischer (Château Révelette), Laurent Combier (Clos des Grives) and Jean-Michel Gerin (Domaine Gerin). This 8-hectare domaine at altitudes of 300 to 600m above sea level reaps the benefits of the coolness of the Montsant mountains. Grenache and Carignan grapes are cultivated on clay and schist soils and express themselves fully in lively, elegant and powerful wines.
