Chavy-Chouet has created a very fine Meursault in a smooth and delicious style. The wood is perfectly integrated. It needs three to eight years in the cellar to express its full potential. This wine releases aromas of yellow fruit and hawthorn on the nose. The palate is silky and perfectly balanced.
Domaine Chavy Chouet, located in Meursault, is a family vineyard that extends over 13 hectares and has plots in the most beautiful villages of the Côte de Beaune: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Volnay and Pommard. The domaine comes from the union of the two eponymous families, settled for generations in the region. Currently managed by Romaric Chavy (7th generation), the farm is cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner, limiting chemicals as much as possible. The very fair prices mean it is unmissable for any lover of great Burgundy wines.
