More infoThis cuvée is produced exclusively from vines belonging to the domain (a parcel of just over one hectare), planted between 1929 and 1980. It is matured in oak barrels for around 10 months, then in vats for 2 months. This wine can easily be kept for 4-5 years. It reveals aromas of blackberry, cherry and peony, along with notes of pepper and licorice. The same juicy fruitiness is found in the mouth, combined with a clean, energetic structure with perfect balance and great length.
About the Producer François Mikulski
François Mikulski created his domaine in Meursault with his wife Marie-Pierre in 1991. The vineyard consists of four plots of premier crus (Genevrières, Charmes, Poruzot and Goutte d''Or). Great attention is paid to the vineyards which are managed in an environmentally friendly way. Wines mature for 16 to 18 months in the barriques, of which rarely more than 20% are new. The whole range has great quality, offering depth, complexity and finesse.
