The wine

This wine comes from a vineyard planted in the 1970s at the base of the Corton hill. On the nose, it delivers aromas of black cherry and plum, and notes of wet stone. The mouth opens up elegantly with silky tannins.

About the Producer Pavelot

The Pavelot family has been present in Pernand-Vergelesses since at least the 17th century and their domaine has grown over time and generations. Today, Luc and Lise Pavelot have taken over from their father Régis. Their 9-hectare vineyard is certified organic and shared between Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton. This is a really interesting area, with particularly charming wine, that also maintains reasonable prices.
