From a clay-chalk terroir, it is the product of sustainable growth, total destemming, cold pre-fermentary maceration of between 5 and 10 days, and a cuvaison of three weeks in stainless steel vats. The wine was then matured for a year in oak barrels (70% new wood). Whilst a ‘simple’ Burgundy, this wine is a true gem that nicely balances floral and fruity notes with a crisp texture.

The wine
This cuvée was created just recently. About the Producer François Lumpp
Domaine François Lumpp is one of the flagship areas of the Givry appellation. François Lumpp started working as a wine grower in 1977 with his brother, then separated and created his own domaine in 1991, on 8 hectares of land. The wines he produces show consistent quality and are characterised by fine length on the palate.
