A smooth, fruity, crisp wine for sharing, produced by siblings committed to biodynamic growing methods and natural winemaking.
More infoThe Antoine Lienhardt family estate is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, in the village of Comblanchien. It has been run by Antoine since 2011, with his sister Héloïse joining him in 2017. Together, they produce a red Burgundy called Vignes Blanches, made from Pinot Noir carefully cultivated following organic and biodynamic principles, which encourage the vines to draw the nutrients they need to flourish from deep within the clay and limestone soil. The south-east-facing exposure is perfect for the grapes to attain peak ripeness before they are harvested by hand. The subsequent vinification involves no inputs and a year’s ageing in oak casks.
This delightful red wine is best enjoyed during its first five years, when it is fruity, slightly floral and tinged with light notes of sweet spices. Perfect for sharing with friends over a pâté en croûte or a regional cheese, for example.
