Growing Chardonnay grapes on clay and chalk-rich soil and 10 months of élevage in oak delivers a very appealing freshness, minerality and roundness. Its expressive nose exudes aromas of white fruits, white flowers, and dried fruits. Sustainable agriculture and manual harvests with screening are labour-intensive processes and patience is also needed in the cellars. But a glass of Bruno Colin’s wine more than makes this worthwhile.

His vines cover 8 hectares spread over five appellations of the Côte de Beaune: Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Maranges. Bruno Colin's values are seen in the image of his Chardonnays: clean and pure.
