More infoThese Chardonnay vines were planted in 1982 by Romain and Damien Bouchard’s grandfather in the lower region of Blanchot. The very steep terrain calls for meticulous care, and this small plot is cultivated entirely by hand. The grapes are harvested at peak maturity and are sorted on a vibrating table and pressed with a pneumatic press. The juice is put into stainless-steel tanks where the temperature is carefully controlled. Each plot is vinified separately, as naturally as possible. The fermentation uses only native yeasts, and the wine is neither fined nor filtered.
The golden colour unveils a fragrant bouquet. Subtle floral notes highlight the invigorating nose. The palate is subtle, elegant and complements the floral aromas, for a deliciously long finish. This 100% Chardonnay can be cellared for a few years.
