0.75L
Intensity
A 100% Chardonnay bursting with aromatic complexity and intense freshness.
More infoThe iconic Meursault terroir is home to the Pré de Manche, a relatively unknown and underestimated locality located in the north of the appellation. The pebbly, sloping soils provide the vines with an ideal southern exposure. The Chardonnay vines, on average forty years old, are exclusively cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles. Neither fertilisers nor chemical weedkillers are used here, to make way to a more precise and gentle viticulture. The pebbly soils mainly consist of limestone which gives the grapes great finesse and tension. The hand-harvested grapes are meticulously sorted before being transported to the winery. Once pressed, the juices ferment naturally thanks to native yeasts present on the berries. Each stage of the winemaking process is conducted as naturally as possible.
The light shimmering colour is complemented by an indulgent and sensual bouquet revealing fragrances of bergamot and cloves mingling with hints nutmeg. The smooth palate reveals a singular aromatic power culminating in a delicious long finish. This cuvée offers excellent ageing potential.
