This variety, native to the Yonne region, has successfully established itself alongside Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and is carefully and meticulously cultivated by Jean Wambergue. After being picked at peak ripeness, the Tressallier grapes are meticulously sorted and transported to the winery, where they undergo a careful, low-intervention winemaking process.
The clear, pale yellow colour, enhanced by subtle shimmering reflections, unveils an expressive nose of citrus fruit, pear and peach, complemented by light floral and honey notes. The fresh, generously aromatic palate elegantly leads to a deliciously long, fruity finish. This fresh, persistent white wine can be enjoyed young or cellared for several years.
