Lot presentation

Bas-Armagnac Château de Laubade 1969

The wine

This 1937 vintage has a particularly well-rounded nose, giving off vanilla and candied fruit notes. On the palate, this Bas Armagnac is framed by flavours of dried fruits, walnut and fig. As a whole, it is incredibly well-balanced, with a superbly long, lingering finish.

About the Producer Laubade

Built in 1870, Château de Laubade was the first property to span a hundred hectares of uninterrupted land. Joseph Noulens was considered the estate’‘s real founder, as he built the château at the very start of the 20th century. Since 1998, Arnaud and Denis Lesgourgues have been the third generation to continue their predecessors’‘ dedication to excellence.
