The wine

A Speyside single malt distilled at Tamnavulin and bottled from 1992 for the Italian market, Moon Import. Note the statement on the back label indicating that caramel E150 has not been added to the whisky. Bottle equipped with a screw cap and Italian tax strip.

About the Producer Tamnavulin

Built in 1966 by Invergordon Distillers to meet increasing demand, Tamnavulin is located near the River Livet. As is to be expected, its production was at the time used for the blends of the group, which owned other distilleries, including Bruichladdich and Jura. In 1995, following a decade of overproduction and two years after Invergordon was bought by Whyte & Mackay, the distillery ceased production, only starting up again in 2007. Tamnavulin now has its own range of single malts.
