A single barrel bourbon from Buffalo Trace. This Benchmark bottling showcases the famous “honey spot”—an area in each warehouse that has its own microclimate and which offers the best conditions for maturation. This version was bottled in the 1990s.

About the Producer Benchmark

Benchmark is a bourbon created in the late 1960s by Seagram. Initially produced at the Louisville distillery, which closed in 1983, it was at the time marketed as a premium bourbon available in two versions, one 80 proof and the other 86 proof. It became McAfee’s Benchmark after the brand was bought by the Sazerac group in 1989, which continued production in its Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky.
