The wine

Rapidly spotted by international wine critics, Clos d’Agon rapidly reached the summits and is now commonly regarded of one of the finest wines from Spain. After a fermentation in stainless steel, the wines undergo an 18 months aging in French oak barrels: 50% new and 50% second year. A much-respected wine with a particularly long ageing potential.

About the Producer Clos d'Agon

With a Mediterranean climate, ideally located in the beautiful region of the Catalan Costa Brava, this wine is made in collaboration with the eminent Peter Sisseck. Planted from the 1990s with classic French blends, the vineyard is spread across 15 hectares of terraces on slate, sand and red clay soils.
