The wine

Amrut Double Cask is a blend of two casks, one bourbon (#3189) and one port (#2715). Made with peated Scottish barley, it was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2017. A limited edition of 1,050 bottles.

About the Producer Amrut

Amrut was founded in Bangalore in 1948 by Shri J.N. Radhakrishna under the name Amrut Laboratories. The distillery initially produced “Indian-made liquor”, foreign spirits such as rum, brandy and, from the 1980s, whisky, all produced in India. The current distillery was built in 1987 and its first single malt launched in Glasgow in 2004 after several years of experimentation.
