The wine
The fruit of an exceptional vintage, this Champagne has an attractive golden appearance with refined, delicate bubbles. Its bouquet opens into a genuine mineral expression along with delicate notes of citrus and white flowers. The palate is equally delicate, ending with considerable length thanks to its lively, energetic mineral palette. Designed for ten years' keeping, it will be marvellous with either white meat, a seafood platter or a well-matured cheese.
About the Producer Philippe Gonet
Having been present in the Mesnil-sur-Oger region for 7 generations, the Gonet family produces particularly mineral champagnes which reflect the terroir from which they are produced. The domain spans 19 hectares, with two thirds of Chardonnay and one third of Pinot Noir. Today, Pierre Gonet manages the domain and Chantal Brégeon Gonet supervises the commercial and export side of things.
