The wine

This Pommard Premier Cru comes from a terroir of limestone and clay with perfect drainage. It has been made with a few years of ageing in mind and is an intense purplish ruby in colour. Its bouquet offers up an irresistible array of aromas, with notes of red and black fruits, leather and sweet spice developing harmoniously over time.

About the Producer Aegerter

Created by Jean-Luc Aegerter, this Burgundian house was then inherited by his son Paul. The two share a passion for nature, which guides them in producing top-quality wines. Situated in the Côte d'Or, in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the domain is nowadays expertly managed by Paul, who has brought his energy, taking the house's output off the beaten track to produce wines for enophile from all walks of life.
