A Bas-Armagnac La Fontaine de Coincy distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2001. Bas-Armagnac, which covers part of the Gers and Landes departments in the west of Armagnac, is renowned for its sandy-silty soil, known as tawny sands, which produces delicate and fruity Armagnacs.
