A Mannochmore 18 year old distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2009 for the Diageo Special Releases series. Matured in American and European oak, this is a limited edition 3,210 bottles. Launched in 2001, the Diageo Special Releases are a series of annual bottlings showcasing the finest of the group’’s work.

About the Producer Mannochmore

Mannochmore was founded in the 1960s to meet the growing demand for whisky. Primarily used to produced whisky for the Haig and Dimple blend, it is today known to collectors for its iconic black whisky Loch Dhu. This whisky, which was highly criticized for its unnatural colour when it was first released, would return sometime later on the secondary market.
