The wine

This Ardnamurchan distilled in 2015 was the distillery’’s first bottling, released in October 2020. Aged for 5 years, 65% of the whisky was matured in bourbon casks and 35% in sherry casks (Pedro Ximenez or Oloroso). A Limited edition of 15,978 bottles.

About the Producer Ardnamurchan

Ardnamurchan was set up in the Highlands by the independent bottler Adelphi. It is not Adelphi’‘s first distillery, as the company was also behind the Loch Katrine distillery founded in Glasgow in 1826. It was bought in 1880 by Archibald Walker and in 1903 by Distillers Company Limited. Ardnamurchan is a modern distillery focused on limiting its impact on the environment. It produces both peated and unpeated whisky from barley grown on the distillery owners’‘ land.
