The clay-limestone soil produces a medium-bodied, fruity, elegant wine. The dominant tannins need a few years to soften.
About the Producer Château la Clusière
Château La Clusière was promoted Grand Cru Classé in 1996. Its qualities were then well-known. In 2001, the vineyard was incorporated into Château Pavie's production, promoted Premier Grand Cru Classé “A” in 2012.
