An old bottle of Gordon’’s gin distilled in London and imported to Italy. We estimate this bottle to be from the 1970s. The label states the bottling strength in both English and American format.

About the Producer Tanquray Gordon & Co

Gordon’s London Dry Gin was developed for the first time in 1769 by Alexander Gordon, a London-based Scot. The drink’s popularity with the Royal Navy quickly enabled the brand to be exported to the four corners of the globe and, more specifically, to the British colonies. In 1898, Gordon & Co merged with Charles Tanqueray & Co to form Tanqueray Gordon & Co. This was then incorporated into Diageo’s predecessor the Distillers Company Limited (DCL) in 1922.
