The wine

Compass Box Flaming Heart was first released in 2006. This sixth edition released in 2018 revisits the sherry cask style of the 2012 edition. It is composed of 7.7% Highland whiskies matured in heavily toasted French oak casks, 7.5% casks from The Spice Tree Extravangaza, 39.5% Caol Ila matured in refill barrels, 5.7% Clynelish matured in refill barrels, and 28.7% Deanston matured in refill hogsheads.
