The wine

A 10 year old Port Charlotte single cask (#953) distilled in 2004 and bottled for the Cask Exploration range. As the name implies, this range explores the attributes of the various casks used at Port Charlotte. This limited edition of 440 bottles was matured in a sherry hogshead. The Valinch range features single casks bottled in 50 cl bottles available only at the distillery.

About the Producer Bruichladdich - Port Charlotte

On 29 May 2001 Bruichladdich began producing Port Charlotte, a whisky peated to 40 ppm. Port Charlotte is now available in a wide range of versions, offering different age statements, casks and barley sources - all accompanying the distillery's other bottlings, Bruichladdich and Octomore.
