Château Grate-Cap 1959
The wine
Planted in gravelly soil on a subsoil rich in iron residues, this superb terroir produces 48,000 bottles of full-bodied wine with a rich bouquet and elegant, supple tannins.
About the Producer Château Grate-Cap
Château Grate-Cap occupies an area of 12 hectares, 8 of which are planted with vines. The name Grate-Cap comes from the Latin, gratum caput which, rather succinctly, means, a group of vines producing a delicious wine!
