The wine
Vinification is traditional and the wines, after aging in oak barrels (with 20% new wood each year), are characterized by their deep colour, their characteristic bouquet and their rich, mellow structure. These are lovely soft Margaux, with a well-judged woodiness and high-quality tannins.
