The wine
The Saint-Aubin Premier Cru Le Charmois is tucked between the villages of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet and is named after ancient ploughed fields that have been returned to their natural state. They remain loyal to the appellation of Saint-Aubin, known for its wines featuring silky tannins and alluring aromas.
About the Producer Ramonet
Jean-Claude and Noël safeguard the 17-hectare property created bit by bit by their grandfather Pierre Ramonet in the 1920s, a Burgundian figure. Noël (in the cellar) and Jean-Claude (in the vineyard) took over the domain in 1984. They are the third generation and want to get the best out of the terroir. It is one of the most renowned domain of the appellation for both quality and finesse of its wines.
