Jack Daniel's Of. Sinatra Select Special Edition

The wine

This limited edition Sinatra Select is a tribute from the Jack Daniel’’s distillery to artist Frank Sinatra, released to mark the hundredth anniversary of his birth in 2015. The bottle was given a fresh look for the occasion and proudly depicts the Fedora hat famously worn by the legendary singer, alongside his favourite colours orange and black. Special “Sinatra” oak barrels were also produced to mature the whiskey, with grooves cut into the inside of the staves to increase the interaction between the wood and the spirit.
Behind this whiskey’’s amber colour lies a harmonious nose with notes of vanilla. The palate is full and complex, with a smoky side, and a handful of spices and liquorice. We recommend all those who can to get their hands on a bottle before it’’s too late!

About the Producer Jack Daniel's

United States, Tennessee, Lynchburg. Distillery operational. Owner: Brown FormanIt is somewhat ironic that Jack Daniel's, one of the most famous distilleries in the world, is located in the heart of Tennessee in the Moore county, the same area that voted in favour of Prohibition in 1909. When the law was repealed in 1933, the Motlow family, who owned the the distillery at the time, had to fight for another five years for the distillery to be allowed to distil again. Despite the law being relaxed in 1995, it still remains a “dry county” to this day. Jack Daniel's is a model of stability. It remained in the family fold until 1956, before being bought by the Brown family, owner of the Brown-Forman company, who not only kept the Motlows (parents of the Daniel family) at the helm, but also made them part of the company's board of directors. Jack Daniel's is one of the most highly collected whiskeys due to its magnificent limited editions and the Replicas regularly released on the market.
