1er Cru Brut Vincent d'Astrée
The wine
Mainly made up of Chardonnay (80%), this rosé champagne has aged for three to five years in the historic cellars of Pierry. On tasting, it has a wonderful pale pink hue with orange tints. On the nose, we find notes of red fruit and white flowers. Expressive and crisp, it has great minerality which makes it fresh and lingering.
About the Producer Vincent d'Astrée
Champagne Vincent d’Astrée is a cooperative that brings together 240 winemakers across 85 hectares spread over several parcels south of Epernay, mainly on the south facing Premier Cru terroir of Pierry. Pinot Meunier is the dominant varietal but there is also Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This operation offers Champagne defined by the Pinot Meunier style, rounded and fruit forward.
