The wine
Suitable for a long aging process, but also delicious when young, the domain's Château-chalon expresses an aromatic bouquet marked by notes of walnut, hazelnut, spices such as curry and saffron and raisins too. The full-bodied, generous and creamy palate is counterbalanced by fine acidity which gives it length and good aging potential. A fine example of the genre.

This small domain spans a mere three hectares, yet it boasts some of the finest, oldest vines in the appellation. Renowned for its old vintages, this small domain is extremely sought after by wine lovers in the know.
