Givry Domaine des Moirots 2016

The wine

This domain comprises 15 hectares of vines planted in Bissey-sous-Cruchaud, around 10km south of Givry. Christophe grows his vines sustainably. This Givry-Blanc cuvée is made from 100% Chardonnnay, harvested by hand in small boxes. The grapes are first sorted in the vineyard, then for a second time in the winery. They are matured in oak barrels. A yellow wine that blends citrus, nuts and exotic fruit. This wine is at once mineral and tense, with lovely length on the palate.

About the Producer Domaine des Moirots

Domaine des Moirots is a family vineyard located in Bissey-sous-Cruchaud, north of the Mâcon appellation. The 14-hectare domaine is managed by Christophe Denizot, his father and his sister. The vineyard which encompasses 12 appellations (Montagny, Bouzeron, Givry) is run in a sustainable manner.
