The wine
The grapes are harvested by hand, 80% destemmed, and punched up during fermentation, then the juice is preserved for 16 months in oak barrels. Fully exposed on an east-facing slope of clay-chalk soil, this wine is fresh with a beautifully fruity aromatic bouquet. The tannic structure on the palate confers a certain fullness that leaves a finish of gentle, spicy flavours.
