On tasting, this Vacqueyras aged for 24 months in 450-litre casks has an intense and deep ruby ​​hue that exudes an intense bouquet of chocolate, leather, game, sweet spices and ripe black fruits. On palate, its sweetness and density are expressed in a particularly tasty and persistent register. Superb with a flavoursome cut of meat!

About the Producer Le Sang des Cailloux

Domaine du Sang des Cailloux was created in 1975 and bought by Serge Férigoule in 1990. As a sustainable winegrower, Serge decided to prohibit the use of chemical herbicides and artificial products. In 2003, his son Frédéric joined him to assist with cultivating the domain's 17-hectare vineyard on a plateau facing the breathtaking Dentelles de Montmirail in the Vacqueyras appellation. Together, they decided to apply firstly for organic certification and then biodynamic. The reddish brown, clay-limestone and pebble terroir is primarily cultivated for red wine. For some years though Serge and Frédéric have also been trying their hand at white wine.
