A Dimple 12 Year Old blended scotch produced by John Haig & Co., identifiable by the unique shape of its bottle, which earned it the nickname “pinch” in the United States. This bottle is from the 1980s.
About the Producer John Haig & Co.
John Haig & Co is widely considered one of the greatest dynasties of Scotch whisky. Shortly after its creation, it began distilling grain spirit in a column still, becoming one of the main producers. The company is also part of the group behind the creation of Diageo’s predecessor the Distillers Company Limited (DCL) in 1877. More recently, its heritage inspired the launch of the single grain whisky Haig Club in 2014.
