Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Dupont-Tisserandot (Domaine) 1993
The wine
Charmes-Chambertin is distinguished by its intense fruity aromas and woody, spicy notes. The palate asserts a certain power, good volume and great aromatic persistence. This wine will age well; it makes a great accompaniment for dishes of game in sauce.
About the Producer Dupont-Tisserandot
Domaine Dupont-Tisserandot has been run by the same family for four generations. It was bought by the Domaine Faiveley in 2013 but the teams remained in place, particularly Marie Françoise Guillard and Patricia Chevillon, who run the domaine. The 20 hectare vineyard has vines ranging from relatively old to old and it includes 20 different appellations. It extends from the north of the Côte de Nuits in Marsannay to the Côte de Beaune in Savigny-lès-Beaune.
