Vieux Château Saint-André 1981
The wine
This wine from Château Saint-Andre belongs to the Montage-Saint-Emilion AOC and a lot of care and attention to detail both in the vineyard and the cellar go into producing it. Its natural elegance is evident from its complex, yet never exuberant, nose. A delightful floral bouquet with hints of vanilla and fruit. The wood is subtly integrated thanks to a small proportion of new oak (20%) and offers roundness and structure.
